Seger Ducharme - Board Member (Education)

Seger began his Neurodiagnostic career at West Virginia University Medicine in 2016, receiving on-the-job training led by Marisha Hamid, R. EEG T. He spent 3 years at WVU, obtaining his R. EEG T. and working in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.  He then went on to work as a travel EEG technologist for 3 years.

His final travel assignment was at St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls, ID. Seger fell in love with the lifestyle, adventure, and natural beauty of Idaho, and the need for growth within neurodiagnostics was palpable. In 2021, Seger made St. Luke’s in Twin Falls his home. Today, he works as the EEG manager, guiding the expansion of EEG services and mentoring a growing staff. He finds great fulfillment in providing what was once provided for him, on-the-job training, and teaching for new techs.

Seger grew up in Los Angeles and earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He believes in the power of dedication, laughter, music, the outdoors, gardening, and moments spent with those we love.
